Marcus Katz

Marcus is an author & co-author of over fifty books on esotericism and divination, several of which were best-selling or award winning. He is a teacher of the Western Esoteric Initiatory System (WEIS) of which he is a lifelong practitioner.
He was the first person in the world to be conferred with a masters degree in Western Esotericism at the prestigious University of Exeter. Attesting to his practical approach and professional life, he also holds an MBA from the University of Central Lancashire and a DMS from the University of Derby.
As founder and a co-Director of the Tarosophy Tarot Association, the world’s largest Tarot organisation, he has studied and taught tarot for forty-five years and has delivered more than ten thousand face-to-face readings. He developed the worldwide TarotCon conventions, where he taught in-person across the UK, Europe, the USA, Brazil, Australia and Asia Pacific. Marcus was initiated into Witchcraft in England, 1983, when he was 18.
The coven was directly hived from Patricia Crowther, although Marcus developed both an Alexandrian and Gardnerian approach, eventually blending a selection of pagan perspectives in both ritual and teaching. Marcus teaches Witchcraft, Spellcrafting, Alchemy, and other subjects of Western Esotericism through Magicka School. He works to develop WEIS in a networked magical order, the Order of Everlasting Day, which is a magical group for those that do not join magical groups.
